So far, we have rescued almost a dozen horses or ponies from slaughter-bound kill pens or private, individual cases of neglect and abuse. When we are able to remove them from that situation, we do our best to help them heal both physically and mentally so that we can eventually retrain them so that they can be contributing members of society. We hope that in doing that they will hold enough value in other people’s eyes and never find themselves in a situation like that again. We can’t always keep every rescue that arrives at Enchanted Hollow forever, but we want to make sure that they are given the best possible chance at a happy life. We work hard to show them what they are capable of so that they can find that forever home. This is a page dedicated to updates and information on our rescues.
